Peace of Mind
Living Within the Rules
Whether you’ve received a violation notice, need to submit an application for architectural change, have a dispute with your neighbor, or had something pop up on your resale inspection, it can be extremely frustrating. It doesn’t have to be. Knowing how to be proactive, avoid the frustration, and navigate within the confines of the association’s documents makes all the difference. I’m here to help. Having managed associations for nearly two decades, I know the ins and outs to take the stress out of living (or selling) within the rules.
Board Leadership
Board Members and Committees have an enormous task with even greater liability…even if they have a management company and professional community manager. Avoiding common pitfalls while complying with your documents and the law is vital. Whether your Board needs training, wants to have more productive meetings, needs third-party annual election oversight, needs help with budget preparation, needs to hire a new management firm, wants to overhaul its committee charters, build a greater sense of community, or something in between, I’m here to help. Contact me to today to schedule a free consultation to develop solutions unique to your association.
Resale Document Review
Buying or Selling a home is stressful enough. To make matters worse, if you’re buying or selling in an association, within days of signing your contract, there’s an enormous package of rules for the Buyer to review. If you’re the Buyer, you have 5 days to decide if you can live with them!! If you’re the Seller, this could either make or break your contract. Don’t get overwhelmed! If you’re the Buyer, send me your list of questions. I’ll review the documents for you and provide you answers backed by the documents themselves along with any red flags I come across during my review. If you’re the Seller, contact me when you’re ready to put your house on the market, and I’ll put together a list of commonly asked questions and answers to provide in your marketing package to avoid potential contract issues down the road.
